This policy separates three different privacy contexts: technical data generated when you visit this website, local data stored by the Clash Verge Rev desktop application, and network requests sent to services such as subscriptions, proxies, DNS, GitHub and WebDAV.

Website and Clash Verge App Privacy Boundaries
This policy applies first to visits to clash-vergeapp.com. Where it describes Clash Verge Rev application behavior,
it summarizes the project's current public privacy documentation so readers can understand the boundary between website data and desktop-client data.
This policy does not apply to the following, each of which is governed by the privacy policy of the party responsible for it:
- Clash Verge Rev desktop application: maintained by the open-source project; its storage and network behavior are governed by the project's current privacy policy, source code and release version.
- Third-party platforms such as GitHub and Telegram: when you visit them through links on this site, those platforms' own policies apply.
- Subscription, proxy, DNS and WebDAV services: selected or configured by the user; each provider controls its own request logs, traffic handling, retention and account data.
Website Access Data
This website has no account database or server-side profile form. Delivering pages and following external links can still generate normal browser and network metadata.

About the Footer Input
The footer form submits to GitHub Releases. The site does not keep its own mailing-list database, but the browser sends the entered value to GitHub as a request parameter when you submit the form. If you want repository notifications, use GitHub's own Watch or Release notification features instead.
About GitHub Search
The header search form sends the search term to the Clash Verge Rev repository on GitHub. This site does not keep a separate search-history database, but GitHub receives and processes the request under its own privacy policy and account settings.
Note The exact access-log fields, retention period and operational use depend on the hosting/CDN provider and the site's current configuration. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period unless that infrastructure setting is known and documented.
Cookies and Browser Local Storage
The current pages use browser-side storage for interface preferences such as light or dark theme. These values remain in the browser unless you clear them, and the site does not need advertising cookies or cross-site profiling to provide the page content.
You can delete them at any time through your browser's “Clear browsing data”. The pages still work normally afterwards; your preferences simply return to their defaults.
GitHub, Telegram and Website External Links
External links move the browser to GitHub, Telegram or another third-party platform. Those services independently handle the requests, cookies, login state and content submitted there.

Once you open an external platform, its own privacy policy applies. Before posting a public Issue or Discussion, remove subscription tokens, proxy passwords, UUIDs, WebDAV credentials and logs that reveal domains, IP addresses or other sensitive connection metadata.
Clash Verge Rev Local Application Data
The current project privacy policy states that Clash Verge Rev has no telemetry, analytics, crash reporting or usage reporting. Configuration, credentials and logs are stored in local application files.
The application data directory contains settings, downloaded profiles, generated configs, Extension Config/Script data, Mihomo runtime files and application/service logs. These files can contain subscription URLs, proxy server addresses, passwords, UUIDs, requested domains, IP addresses and connection metadata, so they should be treated as sensitive.
- Configs and logs: stored in the local application data directory; log retention can be controlled in the client, and logs should be reviewed before attaching them to a public bug report.
- WebDAV backup: disabled until you configure it. A backup is uploaded to the WebDAV server you specify and may still contain proxy credentials or subscription URLs inside profile data.
- Deletion and cleanup: removing the application data directory deletes local profiles, settings and logs; whether you keep a separate backup is your choice.
Clash Verge Rev also makes network requests when a feature requires them, including subscription refreshes, proxy traffic, application update checks, Mihomo/core downloads or updates, latency tests, DNS resolution, the Home-page IP information card and WebDAV backup. The exact destinations and controls are defined by the current project privacy policy and settings.
Note The project currently states that it has no user-account server and no infrastructure receiving app telemetry. Because network defaults and third-party endpoints can change between versions, review the current project privacy policy when that behavior matters.
Subscriptions, Proxy Traffic, DNS and WebDAV
Clash Verge Rev does not provide proxy servers. Remote-profile updates contact the subscription URL you configured; proxied traffic is sent to the selected proxy server; DNS queries go to the resolver defined by the active configuration; and WebDAV backups are uploaded only after you configure a WebDAV server.
Different services can observe different data: a subscription endpoint can see the profile-download request and source IP, a proxy operator can see traffic that passes through its server, a DNS resolver receives domain queries, and a WebDAV provider stores the backup archive sent to it. Review each service's privacy and retention policy separately.
Important The application may also contact third-party endpoints for update checks, the Home-page IP information card and user-initiated latency or service-availability tests. Some of these behaviors can be disabled or changed in the application settings; the current project privacy policy documents those controls.
Data Security and Minimization
This website is served over HTTPS and is designed to minimize server-side user records. That reduces the amount of data held directly by the site, but it does not eliminate privacy or security risks created by the browser, network path, hosting/CDN provider or third-party platforms.
For the desktop client, the most sensitive items are subscription tokens, proxy passwords, UUIDs, WebDAV credentials and logs. Redact them before sharing configuration, screenshots or bug reports. Related usage questions are covered in the FAQ privacy section.
Children and Minors
This site and the Clash Verge Rev application are general-purpose network tools and are not designed specifically for children. The website has no user-account registration system. When minors use third-party platforms or network services, the age and parental-consent rules of those services still apply.
Your Data Controls and Privacy Rights
Depending on the law that applies where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data. In the data paths described on this page:
- Website data: this site has no user-profile database; hosting/CDN logs are controlled by the relevant provider and site configuration.
- Local app data: browser preferences can be cleared locally, and Clash Verge Rev profiles, credentials and logs can be removed by deleting the relevant application data.
- Application network features: update checks, profile refresh, WebDAV and other optional behavior can be controlled through the current application settings and configuration.
- Data on third-party platforms: to deal with personal data on platforms such as GitHub or Telegram, exercise your rights directly through those platforms' own channels.

This policy may change when the website implementation, Clash Verge Rev privacy documentation, default application network behavior or third-party services change. The effective and last-updated dates identify the current version of this page.
